Soldiers of Salamina (film)

The Soldiers of Salamis Spanish Soldados de Salamina is a 2003 Spanish film directed by David Trueba, based on the book by Javier Cercas. Starring Ariadna Gil and Ramn Fontser, the film was nominated for eight Goya Awards in 2004, and won the award for Best Cinematography. It was also screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival. The exteriors of the film were shot in Girona, Spain.
